Marilyn Baxter Frank passed away, peacefully, on Saturday, January 12, 2019 in Mesquite, Texas. She was born March 19, 1938 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to parents Clifford Casper and Martha Olive (Hayes) Baxter. She was 80 years of age.
Mrs. Frank put her heart and soul into everything that she did. As a result, she had many accomplishments both in her personal life and her professional life. She was cafeteria manager for the school district. Her greatest accomplishment, though, is her life-long marriage to the "only man that she ever loved", Mr. Donald Frank. The two were married for a wonderful 62 years and raised two devoted children. Her grandchildren and great granddaughter were her pride and joy!
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her dear husband, Mr. Donald Frank; devoted son, Brian Frank; beautiful daughter, Brenda Walling and husband William; granddaughter, Amanda Britton; grandson, Aaron Britton Fuller and wife Brittany; great granddaughter, Bailey; and a number of extended family and dear friends. Those of us who called her Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, or friend were very lucky to have had her in our lives. She will be missed forever by all.
Mrs. Frank was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Sherri Faye Frank.
There will be a graveside service for Mrs. Frank at 3:00 pm, Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in Garden of Serenity with Rev. Ted Kiser officiating. All are invited to attend. The family will receive friends at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, January 16, 2019.
