Mrs. Margaret Ann "Peggy" Whittington gained her angel's wings on the Tenth day of March 2019. She was born February 10, 1944 in Lubbock County, Texas to the late Freddie B. and Doris Raye (McBrayer) Clements. She was 75 years of age.
Peggy was the loving wife of Douglas F. Whittington and the loving mother of Roy Lee King of Forney, Texas, Patricia R. Cordrey of Arkansas, and Randy Ray Clements of Dallas, Texas as well as children from her blended families, Raymond A. King, Jr., Sonja Caldwell, Will Whittington, Robert Whittington, and Anne Atkins. She was blessed by God with many grandchildren which include Chase King, Colton King, Makenzie King, Rebecca Cleaver, Richard Cordrey, William S. Whittington, Samara Richards, Kayla Richards, Brooklynne Kirkham, and Stormi Whittington, 13 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.
Peggy was always on the move loving life no matter how hard it became. On any given day, she could be seen burning up the roads to attend her grandchildrens' sporting events, birthday parties, or simply watching her family as they bowled (her favorite sport). In her younger years, she was a beast at the bowling lanes and could tear up a dance floor square dancing to her favorite callers. Though she left a legacy within her family, she had a multitude of friends that she also considered family. Peggy never knew a stranger and was loved by so many. May she rest in peace.
