Lavon Kearney entered into the gates of heaven on November 18, 2018 with her family by her side. Mrs. Kearney was born on January 22, 1939 in Honobia, Oklahoma to Vogel Richard Eubanks and Helen Corine Atchley Eubanks. She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband G.A. Kearney, daughter Susan Currin, son Jonathan Kearney and granddaughter Megan Adkins. Lavon is survived by daughter Janice Adkins and husband John Chavez, grandchildren, Billy Currin and wife Theda, Michael Currin and wife Jennifer, Joshua Currin, Dustin Adkins and wife Renee, Ryan Kearney, Hunter Adkins, Zachary Chavez and Kara Chavez, 11 great-grandchildren, brother Garry Eubanks and his wife Elaine. Sisters, Carol Leonard, Phyllis Fleming and Penny Eubanks Adams, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kearney was a woman who loved taking care of her family. She was also very talented in many areas of arts and crafts, having won many ribbons at the Texas State Fair for sewing, quilting and doll making.
