Juanita Jo (Millsap) Robinson

March 4, 1928 ~ November 11, 2018 (age 90)

Juanita Jo Robinson was 90 years old when she went to her heavenly home on November 11 2018. She was in the loving care of her daughter, Nancy Robinson Parr, where she had resided for the last five years in Spring, Texas. Nita had been ill with Alzheimer's for many years. She was born March 4, 1928 in Hopkins County, Texas to John and Katie Millsap. As a child, she loved spending time with her grandparents, Brad and Artie Davidson. She graduated from Sulphur Springs High School at the age of sixteen. Soon after graduation, she went to Dallas, Texas were she worked at Sunshine Cracker, Sears & Roebuck and Oil Well Supply Company before she met and married Jesse Jack Robinson. They were married on June 12, 1948 by Dr. W. T. Criswell, Pastor of First Baptist Church Dallas. The couple had four children: Patricia Lynn, Doyle Wade, Nancy Dianne and Jeffrey Jack. In 1962 Nita acquired a Cosmetology Certificate. Her husband died on May 13, 1966. Their youngest son, Jeff, was only seventeen months old at time. She continued to be homemaker and supported herself and children by baby sitting, ironing, sewing and dressing hair from home. She remarried Alvin Locker and moved from Dallas to Quinlan, Texas, where they ran a successful Trade Market and Auction. She spent over 20 years selling collectibles at First Mondays in Canton. She is survived by her children: Patricia, Nancy and Jeff; her Grandchildren: Tobey Latham and Wendy Alexander; Aimee Wallace and Carrie Wallace; and her Great Grandchildren: Morgan, Gavin and Allie Wallace Rodriguez; Michael, Andrew, Samuel, Noah, Abby, Caleb and Titus Latham; and Caitlin and Parker Arleeta Alli Alexander; and Great Great Grandchildren: Lilly, John, Brooke and Amber Latham; and Maiah Wallace Richardson; and sisters: Maurace Fletcher, son and Dorothy Clippinger.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Jack Robinson; son, Doyle Wade Robinson; and siblings: Christeene Hettich, Murreald and Jerald Millsap, Maxine Chapel Harris.
