Jennifer Gail Stout ‘GailBaby’ was born to Gerald and Helen Owens on March 24, 1949 in Dallas, Texas. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from complications of C.O.P.D. She was 68 years old. Jennifer is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, James Larry Stout of Dallas; parents Gerald and Helen Owens of Kaufman; sisters, Linda Courte of Kaufman and Anita ‘Denna’ Kniffin of Mesquite. She is survived by daughter, Cheryl Cooper and husband, Kenneth; son, Christopher and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Tanner and Morgan Cooper, Cole, Zane, Layden Stout; sister, Tracy Young and husband, Chris. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, in laws, friends and Church family.
Gail will be remembered for her beautiful and contagious smile, quick wit, and great sense of humor. She was outspoken and told it like it was; she was honest, but kind. She brought joy and laughter to everyone who knew her. She had the most vibrant personality and lit up a room. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Kaufman, and Mimosa Lane Baptist Church, Mesquite. She enjoyed her job and retired after 30 years from AT&T. She was a graduate of 1967 from W.W. Samuel High School.
Most of all she will be appreciated for the love of her Lord Jesus. In her own words, “Regardless what I go thru, I depend on God’s help to get to the end, so therefore, I am always happy” Amen.
