San Juana Duron Jaramillo "Janie" was born December 28, 1933 and went into her eternal resting place October 6, 2018 in her home at the age of 84. She was born in Monterrey Mexico to late parents Antonio A Duron & Isabel C Duron. She was 1 of 13 siblings and is survived by Brother Frank Duron, Sisters Maria Morales and Fina Ponce. She is also survived by daughter Elida Abrego of Mesquite TX, Son and Daughter in Law Rickey and Priscilla Jaramillo of Forney, Daughter Mary Anderwald of Arlington and Daughter and Son in Law Irene and Johnny Campos of Forney. She was known as "Mamaw" by surviving grand children Veronica, Steve, Ricky Jr, Jeremy, Jeffrey, Alex, Alyssa, Cody, Jessica, Nina and Michael. And also was surrounded by many great grandchildren who loved her dearly. She was preceded by her sons Eloy Garcia, Eddie Garcia, Grandson Anthony Garcia and Great Grandson Easton Jaramillo. Janie and her family moved to Texas in 1942 when she was 9 years old after her brothers enlisted for World War II. She then moved to Dallas in 1959 where she resided in Balch Springs and Mesquite. She loved gambling in Choctaw, playing Bingo and shooting pool. She always loved taking family vacations to Corpus Christi. Her favorite colors were red and white. She had two pets which she loved dearly her late parrot Panchito of 30 years and dog Thalia of 12 years. She was very strong willed and stubborn and suffered from chronic back pain and arthritis since 1996. This kept her from being as active as she wanted to be. In her last years she struggled with several health problems which lead to her heart issues. Aside from her health she still enjoyed spending time with her family nothing short of wisecracks and laughter. That’s how her family will remember her.
