Glenna (Genthner) Shubert

August 15, 1955 ~ September 28, 2018 (age 63)

Glenna Francine Genthner Shubert was born August 15, 1955 in Dallas, Texas to Frederick and Luella Genthner. She passed suddenly on September 28, 2018. She is preceded in death by her Father, Frederick Glenn Genthner, her Mother Luella Davis Genthner, and her brother Michael Glenn Genthner. Glenna leaves behind her brother, Charles Lindsley Genthner; Two sons, Michael Bradley Shubert and his wife Lisa, Matthew Glenn Shubert and his wife Jamie; her grandchildren, Madison Kate Shubert, Michael Bradley Shubert II, Amy Nicole Shubert, Mason Glenn Shubert, & Amanda Benleigh Shubert.


Glenna was born in Dallas to Glenn and Luella Genthner. She graduated from H. Grady Spruce High School and was soon married with two children. After having her two sons, Glenna worked and enjoyed just being a Mom. After the passing of her Mother, Glenna moved back in with her Father to help care for him. After his passing, she was soon a Grandmother. If she wasn’t doing something for her grandkids, she enjoyed music, painting, collecting crystal and jewelry. Glenna was a very nurturing person. Always more concerned about other people than herself. After a lengthy battle with numerous physical ailments, she is now at peace and without suffering.

Visitation: Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home.
Cremation to follow at a later date
