Gladys Marie (Dammon) Neff of Mesquite, Texas passed away at the age of 92 at T. Boone Pickens Center in Dallas, Texas after a long struggle with congestive heart failure. She was born during the depression of the 1930’s in LaCrosse, Wisconsin on July 19, 1926.
She married William (Bill) Leonard Neff of Colorado City, Texas in 1943 when he was stationed at Camp McCoy during WWII. Her hobbies were baking for her family and friends and shopping.
She truly loved her 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, William Leonard Neff; parents, Lawrence and Marcella Dammon; brother, Richard Dammon; sisters, Leonette Heather and Jean Privett.
She leaves behind three daughters, Victoria Thompson of Mesquite, Dianna Kerr of Talty and Carolyn Flanery of Sunnyvale; one sister, Patricia Haas of LaCrosse, Wisconsin; two son-in-laws, Jack Kerr and Harold Flanery; five grandchildren, Mark Thompson of Mesquite, Charles Flanery of Forney, Stacie Dugas of Coppell, Jason Kerr of Richardson and Matthew Thompson of Mesquite and their spouses, Kristi Flanery, Chad Dugas and Jennifer Kerr; eight great grandsons, Dakota Thompson, Tyler Thompson, Justin Thompson, Cole Flanery, Grayson Kerr, Ashton Dugas, Jake Pecina and Colin Felts; three great greanddaughters, Reagan Flanery, Niah Dugas and Kenzie Pecina; and 6 nephews and nieces.
The family would like to convey our gratitude and thanks to Sophya’s Assisted Living in Mesquite and Faith Presbyterian Hospice and the T. Boone Pickens Center in Dallas for all their loving care of our mother during her time of illness and their support to us as we dealt with the loss of our beloved mother.
