Obituary

Gladys June Bonner was born on Tuesday, June 1, 1920 in Brachfield, Texas, to John and Eula Jackson. She passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2020, in Dallas, Texas. 

June is preceded in death by: her husband, Felix Bonner; her son, Jarrell Morris; her granddaughter, Deann Morris-Hillhouse; her parents; four sisters and seven brothers.

She is survived by: four children - Donald Armstrong, Larry Armstrong, James Armstrong and Glenda Magill; five grandchildren - Lee Morris, Troy Armstrong, James Armstrong, Jr., Dianna Bell and Britny Bradshaw; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two brothers Billy Joe Jackson and James Leroy Jackson.

Family will receive friends between 6:00-8:00PM on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home. June's life will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, in the Chapel of Laurel Oaks Funeral Home. Interment in Laurel Oaks Memorial Park will follow the funeral service.

June will be remembered for her fine Southern cooking and for being an accomplished seamstress.
