Donald Ray Gray

June 27, 1958 ~ February 9, 2019 (age 60)

Donald Ray Gray was born June 27, 1958 in Dallas, TX to Alvin Ray and Bobbie Rose Gray. He went to be with the Lord on February 9, 2019.

He is preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Alvin Ray and Bobbie Rose Gray, brother Robbie Louis Gray, and firstborn son Michael Ray Gray. He is also preceded in death by his beloved fur baby Sammy Circles. He is survived by loving wife, Sharon Gray, son John and wife Ellen Gray, son Chris Gray and fiancé Tamera Evans, daughter Sarah Rose Cantu and husband Trinidad Cantu III, grandsons Christian, Bralen, Trinidad IV, and Gabriel, granddaughters Marayah, Fiona, Samarra, and Alora, sister Deborah and husband Tim Farmer, sister Sandra and husband Ron Bell, nephews Robbie Farmer, Darrell Killingsworth, and Steven Bell. He is also survived by beloved fur baby Sister.

Donald was raised in Balch Springs, TX and went to Spruce High School. He met his future wife, Sharon, in 1976 and they married in 1977. They would have celebrated their 42nd year of marriage on February 26, 2019. They raised a family of 3 children in Dallas, TX.

Donald worked in the warehousing industry, namely White Swan Foods for 23 years, Circuit City Corporation for 8 years, and a few other similar businesses before retiring to Snow, OK. He enjoyed being in the mountains, sitting at his fire pit, watching the wild life outside his home, and sitting in his recliner with his favorite dachshund SIster. He enjoyed rebuilding cars, traveling, camping, and watching football. He enjoyed collecting antiques, namely trains, cars, and White Swan memorabilia, and was an avid gun enthusiast.

The family will receive friends at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, February 14, 2019. The service will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, February, 15, 2019 at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home with Rev. John Livaudais officiating. Following the service, there will be a brief committal service at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in the Garden of Love. Chris Gray, Steven Bell, Robbie Farmer, Christian Gray, Trinidad Cantu III, and D.J. Killingsworth will serve as pallbearers. Trinidad Cantu IV will be an honorary pallbearer.
