William Gary LeMonds, known affectionately by family and friends as “Bill”, passed away in a local hospital on October 11, 2017. He was born on September 29, 1953 in Midland, Texas to Robert Earl and Etta Mae (Vann) LeMonds. Bill graduated in 1972 from North Mesquite High School and in 1976 graduated from SMU with a B.A. in Business Administration. Mr. LeMonds worked in various capacities at Burris Windows for 30 years. He was a true outdoorsman who was at peace whether he was wetting a hook or going hunting. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Sue LeMonds, children Lyndsey LeMonds, Adam LeMonds and Hayley LeMonds, grandchildren Brayden Drinning and Rylie Millican, mother-in-law Hazel Bunch, brother-in-law Bill Crow, sisters and brothers in law Dana and Danny Hiser, Jan and Terry Carter, Gwyn and Roman Carrasco, many loving nieces and nephews, especially Roni Carrasco and many life- long friends. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Lakeside Activity Center, 101 Holley Park Drive, Mesquite, Texas 75149. The family requests those who attend to come dressed casual.
