James H. (Jim) Warner, 84, of Mesquite, Texas passed away into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 30, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. Jim was born on March 9, 1933 to Harvey D. Warner and Mary Agnew Warner in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. Mr. Warner is survived by his wife Bobbie Jean Warner, daughter Judith Anne Warner, son Russell Warner and wife Tami Lynne Warner and grandchildren Anna Patricia Warner and David Nathaniel Warner. Jim attended business college after high school and worked in finance all his life. He came to Dallas in 1956 and that same year on a blind date met Jean Ewalt and they got married in 1957. Jim was a man of faith who read his Bible and prayed daily. He was a member of Full Gospel Businessmen and served as a treasurer for that group. Jim was a good Christian man who led his brother Tom and sister Maridel to the Lord.  He Loved God with all his heart and was devoted to his wife and family. Doctors considered it a miracle he was healed from his Lymphoma. The family wishes to especially thank Kari Royal for all her help to them. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 4th at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Laurel Oaks Memorial Park. Officiating the celebration will be Pastor Joe Chiles. Those to serve as pallbearers will be Mark Cory, Scott Cory, Keith Cowgill, Bo Royal, Zach Teer and Travis Royal.
