Graveside services for Ina V. DeFoe will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 2nd at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park with Pastor Scott Gray, officiating. Mrs. DeFoe joined her loved ones on May 28, 2017. Ina was born on December 12, 1919 to Carmen and Minnie (Jones) Bush in the township of Ryde, Muskoka District, Ontario, Canada. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband William Bennett MacLaren (1968) and second husband Frank Joseph DeFoe (1991), son Carmen Earl MacLaren, sister Anne Lamb and brother Ivan Bush. Mrs. DeFoe is survived by daughter Wendy L. Lister and husband Tom, son Richard Bennett MacLaren and wife Naree, granddaughters Toni Marie Perryman, Cathleen Marie Overton and husband Rob, grandson Richard Bennett MacLaren, Jr. and wife Lisa, great-grandchildren, Danica Ryan Rogers, Paige Rylee Overton, Richard Bennett MacLaren III, Hannah Marie MacLaren, Halle Rae Overton, and nieces Sandi Graham and Anna Belle Melville. Ina and her family emigrated to Blaine, Washington in August, 1947 and then located to Los Angeles, California where her and husband William owned and operated a Laundromat. Ina moved to live with her daughter Wendy in Balch Springs in 2009. She was an avid bowler in her day winning many tournaments. Ina loved to crochet and knit, loved playing BINGO and was a very compassionate and loving caregiver. In lieu of flowers the family desires any donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org
