Hazel Inez Huff, aged 91, died peacefully on March 29, 2018 at home in Mesquite, Texas, after a long struggle with heart disease. Inez was born October 14, 1926, in Caddo Mills, Texas, the daughter of Ebbie Deaton and R. E. Dees.
Inez married the love of her life Alan Huff in 1951. In addition to raising their two children she enjoyed designing and making clothing, volunteering and she kept several children in her home. She was an active member of the First United Church Mesquite.
Inez was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Huff and son, Jerry Huff. She is survived by her daughter, Jan Dickinson and daughter-in-law, Kay Huff; granddaughters, Brandi Martin, Lauren Dickinson, Jenny and Matt Garvin, Neelie and Todd Palmer; great grand children, Madison Clanton, Trevor Martin, Logan Martin, Minda Garvin, Kaya Garvin and Georgia Garvin.
Visitation is on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home with the burial to follow immediately at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.
